Senior Centers & Meals on Wheels/Nutrition programs
 Senior Centers can be found in almost every community of New Mexico - there are over 212 so far, where seniors can socialize with others they might know from church activities, service clubs and their own neighborhoods. Then there might be a newcomer who moved into the area to be closer to their own grown children, who is hoping to make new aquaintances with people their own age, interests and backgrounds.

Many of the senior centers offer a reasonably priced meal and also operate a "Meals on Wheels" / Nutrition program for the seniors, who are home-bound due to transportation and health issues, or just enjoy the privacy of their own home or apartment. You will find many Nutrition programs on this site, searchable by county, city or zip-code. Some are located within a Senior Center, others not.
