In a recent message, the Administrator of the Idaho Commission on Aging, Kim Wherry Toryanski, wrote: "Making healthy choices is a process in life that never ceases." She further stated: "We are exceptionally fortunate to have great people available to assist seniors throughout all of Idaho's 44 counties." Idahoans work hard to constantly look for ways to improve the quality of life of older Idahoans as well as to address the increasing need for senior services and care. A variety of options are provided, ranging from vibrant senior centers, senior meal programs, Assisted Living facilities, In Home Care programs and energizing Retirement Communities.

The Senior Care Guide has been established to provide Idahoans and others with the most comprehensive database of licensed senior housing and care of its kind in Idaho and throughout the Western States. Every corner of Idaho holds housing options or care choices for senior care. You will find all public senior care information available from the State and Counties, such as: facility name, phone numbers, location and mapping now at your fingertips. We continuously update this information as it becomes available.

The goal has been to make your search as easy and consumer-friendly, as possible. For example, if you are looking for a facility on a particular street, just type in the name of the street in the address section and hit enter. If you wish to see all the facilities in a particular zip code, just put in the zip code and hit submit. Or if you know the name of the facility, but you are not sure where it is located, just put in the name of the facility in the Business Name section and hit enter.
