Home Health Agencies provide a valuable service to seniors and their families often enabling seniors, the disabled and vulnerable individuals to remain in their homes. Home Care Agencies provide non-medical services such as personal care, homemaking, respite care and other non-medical services.

Personal Care includes assistance with dressing, feeding and personal hygiene to make self-care possible.

Through their Homemaking programs they assist with household tasks, housekeeping, shopping, meal planning and preparation and transportation.

They are also able to assist and support the family of a senior or disabled person with Respite Care. (i.e. short term care following surgery or illness while the primary care giver takes time off.)
